Licensed Patients and Caregivers:
So,
you've received your Dept of Health card. Now what?!
Before you
can purchase medicine, you will have to register with each producer you
choose to buy products from. Registration procedures differ slightly,
but all will require a clear photocopy of your DOH card and a legal
picture I.D. (NM Drivers License, US Passport, etc.) so you may want to
make several copies of each ahead of time.
Once you submit your
registration materals, you will have to wait for verification by the NM
Dept. of Health, which can take days or weeks, depending on the volume
of patients they are dealing with.
